Their Friendship Is So Admirable! Chinese Student Carried Disabled Friend For 3 Years

They say that you can make a thousand friends in your entire life but you can only make few real friends out of them. These real true friends will help you get through the toughest times of your life, make you a better person and will silently be there for you when no one seems to be around.

A good example to this is Xie Xu and Zhang Chi. They were both studying at Daxu High School in Xu Zhou, China. They might seem like two ordinary bestfriends but actually, they share an extraordinary bond that no one could ever break.

Xie Xu carries his bestfriend, Zhang Chi for 3 long years. Zhang Chi has muscular dystrophy, a disease that hinders him to walk properly and use his muscles normally.

So for him to get to the class with ease, Xie Xu carries him every single day, without fail. As a result, they were both top honors in their class and many are proud of them including their Vice Principal, Guo Chunxi.

Their bond is one great example of real friendship that you could rarely find all throughout your life.

It's very hard to find a friend who would stick with you through thick and thin. Theirs is a very rare kind of friendship and I hope they will inspire a lot of people.

Now that is real friendship in action! It’s heartwarming to see that such friendship and bond still exists today. More people should follow through their example.

What an inspiring story of friendship. So I guess they both got to class early and had plenty of time to study together. It made school fun for them both, that's why they excelled in academics in the end. Xie Xu is such a good friend.

I wonder what happened after three years. Did the friend get a wheelchair? Has his condition improved?

IT's an inspiring story! Wow! I could somehow relate. I have somehow depended so much back in my college days with my friends. And they've never left my side even in times when I became to difficult to deal with.haha This reminds me of my friends. :D

I don't know what happened to have caused such disability or why he was carried by his friend without fail for three years, but actions do speak louder than words. I am sure that their friendship is no accident and this should be a good example to people to be more selfless.

I saw the same friendship and love at the movie "Theory of Everything," a life story of ALS patient Stephen Hawking and his wife and friends. True friends like them are rare gems and ought to be rewarded awesomely.
