After a lot of issues, scandals and not so good news and publications about the royal couple, a great news about them and their life as a couple was announced and published online and at traditional media, magazines and news papers.
The palace announced that: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are
delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July." Kate Middleton's pregnancy came after almost 2 years of the Royal Wedding.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (popularly known as Kate Middleton) and her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge is expecting their first child this July 2013. According to some of the couple's fans and followers, the baby might be named after Diana, Princess of Wales - the grandmother. The reason behind is that, they might share the same birth date (July 1) although Kate Middleton's baby is due at the 3rd or 4th week of July.
This announcement and the Duchess of Cambridge's date of delivery will surely attract more visitors and tourist at their Royal place, not to mention the paparazzi that will wait for each and every action the couple will make.
The baby, either a girl or boy, will surely enjoy the style, title and attribute of royal highness with the titular dignity of Prince or Princess prefixed to their Christian names or with such other titles of honour after The Queen has issued a Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm. This is quite different under the past rules wherein, a daughter would have been styled Lady and not Royal Highness while only the first born son or boy to the Cambridges can become a Prince.
So, any thoughts about this?
