Nonito Donaire Won Over Jorge Arce - Arce Knocked Out In The Third Round

It feels like a redemption, a revenge for Pinoys this time. Nonito Donaire, the IBF super bantamweight champion, retained his title by knocking out (now 31-1, 20KOs) Jorge Arce (now 61-7-2, 46KOs).

Donaire managed to put Arce down in the canvas three times before the referee decided to stop the fight.

It was seen that Donaire is a much more tactical and intelligent fighter than Arce at this fight. Donaire waited patiently for the right timing and time to land quick and heavy punches to Arce's face.

Jorge Arce hit the canvas at the second round and dropped twice at the third round until the fight is waved off.

As expected, this fight turns out to be a good and bloody one, just like the Juan Manuel Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao bout.

Congrats Nonito Donaire for the win and the title!
